Action RPG Adventure project

About this Project

I made this project during my summer break of 2018 while I didn't get a summer job, I took care of my kids the summer while working on different projects. This is the first project I started.

The main focus for this project was to train my Programming, Particle Systems, Level Design, Inventory, Bosses, AI, Post Processing, Shaders (Unity's new Shader Graph) and Action RPG style gameplay skills. In my opinion I achieved a lot from this project, I learned new ways of making stuff and faster ways to level-design and add crucial components to games. This was the first project I used the lightweight render-pipeline that Unity has added in 2018 (Preview version of it, So I think I didn't get the MOST out of it).

I hope you enjoy this little project I made. It took me approximately 2 months to make, with tons of breaks in between programming and working on this, since I went on a lot of family vacations with my wife and kids. I started the project in Mid-May and ended the project around mid July.

Almost all assets in this project were downloaded from Unity's Asset Store, since in my first project I used assets I made, and I found that to be hard work since for this project I mainly wanted to focus on Programming different mechanics like inventory, hotbar, gear, action RPG movement, "loot", encounters and also a little bit of animation/animator work (which is not my strong suit).

Biggest Asset Packs used (Props to them for sharing them on the store for free <3):
